Product features and uses: This type of asphalt has a low softening point and is generally used for blending oil in coking goods. Soft Pitch is the residue of tar distillation, with a yield of 54-56% of tar. It is composed of aromatic compounds with more than three rings, oxygen-containing, nitrogen-containing, sulfur-containing heterocyclic compounds, and a small amount of high molecular weight carbon substances. The molecular weight of asphalt components ranges from 200 to 2000, with a maximum of 3000. Medium temperature asphalt is classified based on different softening points. The softening point is 60-80 ℃ for medium temperature asphalt.
